Misty Newman’s passion for gardening has made her an enthusiastic Western Garden Center customer. A 2008 early spring visit to WGC Sandy introduced Misty to the newly constructed Atrium. A happy partnership resulted in Misty, one of Utah’s most experienced wedding planners, becoming Director of Events for Atrium Weddings.
Misty, a graduate of The University of Utah, brings a 20-year tradition of excellence in planning wedding receptions and ceremonies to her position with Atrium Weddings. Misty’s background as a private caterer, owner and manager of The Walker Lane Reception Center, and experience with The Old Meeting House and Highland House qualify her to assist in planning every detail of your beautiful celebration!
18 years ago Misty planned her own beautiful wedding. Misty and her husband are the parents of three children. When not planning Atrium events or gardening, Misty can be found helping her children develop their many talents!
